Drive merchant and customer acquisition for DetectPay across Nairobi. You will be on the ground onboarding businesses and spreading awareness of the app.

• Identify and onboard new merchants onto the DetectPay platform
• Conduct product demos and educate business owners on how DetectPay works
• Meet weekly and monthly acquisition targets
• Collect merchant feedback and relay it to the product team
• Represent DetectPay at local business events and markets

• Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field
• 1—3 years experience in field sales or marketing
• Strong communication and persuasion skills
• Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile apps
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Experience in fintech or payments is a plus

Join our growing sales team and help expand DetectPay's presence across Kenya. Based in your city, you will onboard merchants and grow our customer base locally.

• On-ground merchant recruitment and onboarding in your assigned city
• Promote DetectPay to local businesses and customers
• Achieve weekly merchant sign-up targets
• Gather market intelligence and competitor insights
• Build and maintain relationships with local business communities

• Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, or Business — or equivalent experience
• Based in Nairobi, Nakuru, Mombasa, Eldoret, or Kisumu
• Passion for sales and hustle mentality
• Good communication skills in English and Swahili
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required

Own security across DetectPay's mobile app, backend, and payment infrastructure. You will ensure our platform meets the highest standards of security for financial transactions.

• Conduct regular security audits of the mobile app and backend APIs
• Implement and maintain security policies and access controls
• Monitor for threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity
• Ensure compliance with payment security standards (PCI-DSS)
• Work closely with developers to fix vulnerabilities and harden the codebase

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+) are a strong advantage
• 2+ years in cybersecurity or information security roles
• Experience with mobile security (Android/iOS) and API security
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
• Familiarity with Supabase, Firebase, or cloud security is a plus

Build and improve the DetectPay Flutter app used by merchants and customers across Kenya. You'll work on payments, location features, and performance at scale.

• Develop new features and maintain the Flutter codebase
• Integrate M-PESA Daraja APIs and Supabase backend
• Optimise app performance, GPS accuracy, and payment flows
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with design and backend on new product features

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years building production Flutter/Dart apps
• Experience with REST APIs, state management (Riverpod/Bloc)
• Published at least one app on Google Play or App Store
• Knowledge of location services, background processing, and secure storage
• Fintech or payments experience is a strong plus

Build and manage strategic relationships with key merchants and business associations. You'll be the face of DetectPay to our most important business partners.

• Identify and negotiate partnerships with high-volume merchants and business groups
• Develop merchant retention strategies and loyalty programmes
• Work with the sales team to set and track partnership KPIs
• Organise merchant onboarding events and training sessions
• Represent DetectPay in business community meetings and expos

• Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field
• 3+ years in business development, partnerships, or account management
• Strong network within Nairobi's business community
• Experience in fintech, FMCG, or retail preferred
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills

Be the first point of contact for DetectPay users and merchants. You'll resolve payment issues, answer queries, and ensure every customer has a great experience.

• Respond to customer and merchant queries via email and in-app support
• Troubleshoot payment issues and escalate when necessary
• Document common issues and help build a knowledge base
• Gather user feedback and share insights with the product team
• Maintain high customer satisfaction scores

• Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Business, Communications, or any related field
• 1+ year in customer support, preferably in fintech or e-commerce
• Excellent written communication in English and Swahili
• Patient, empathetic, and solution-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
